A message from Tan

It began with constant criticism, "Tan, you're doing tooo much", "You're tooo extra, Tan." I used to hold onto it, make myself smaller and toned down my vibe. I really liked creating, and the way my brain worked- meant that anything I was going to create was going to be over the top.
I soon came to realise the people calling me out for being extra and too much (mainly friends and teachers lol) were just not able to think and create like I could. I create chaos, before its a tangible thing. Many can’t see past the chaos, I also don’t fit in any one specific box- that makes people uncomfortable.
In 2017, i met the love of my life, Nina. She met me before i met myself, she nurtured the extravagancy that is ‘Tantoomuch’ and together we started pouring our extraness in to a load of different experiences and creative ideas.
Nina, is an incredible partner, artist, photographer and producer. A lot of the work you see here was touched by her in some way, she even took this picture.

What started as my trauma grew to be owned and embraced as a blessing, a characteristic that I am now so proud to share with you. I am Tantooomuch, I am a creative conceptualist, event planner, marketeer, designer, writer, chef, host, soca enthusiast, whole leap of tings.
Thanks for coming.
